Old is new again: Jazzing up your bags

I’ve never considered myself lucky until I started blogging. Since then, I’ve won a few awesome giveaways (by the way, have you entered mine yet?), from makeup to artwork, and a few weeks ago, I got booty from one of Shoe Smitten Anna’s giveaways (she almost always has a great one going on, and I bow to her shoeru-ness).

The contest was to get us thinking about how we accessorize to maximize our budgets and up our chic factor.

As a result, I won a few cool purse accessories from FUMI Je’Marie to help me continue maximizing my mix-up and budgety potential.

I’m not currently using a bag that needs jazzing up (it’s got color galore!), but these babies are fun to play with! In the photo above is a chic little hook that you place on a tabletop, so your purse can hang below the table. I, for one, will be using this ALL the time, especially since my purse always seems to end up on the floor.

Clip this on to your bag and use as a charm, a charm with scarf, or a scarf, but either way you can keep your glasses clean!

Anna also sent me a two-in-one purse hook and bracelet. I LOVE IT. This accessory will be great when I’m using a more subtle bag and want to dress it up. But in the mean time? I can wear it! And it works just as well on my wrist as it does on my bag!

Finally, I received a two-in-one purse charm and glasses cleaner/scarf thing. The gold and leopard print is a little further from my personal taste than the other two items, but I can safely say that it’ll go toward good use. I might snap it to the inside of my purse (it’s meant to be seen, though), and then actually CLEAN my sunglasses or glasses once in a while. They get dirty so easily, and I never can find the proper rags when I need them!

Anyway, these accessories are an affordable way to dress up your bags without going and buying another Gucci. Starting at around $20, these cuties come in a variety of styles and colors, and are clearly much more economical than purchasing a brand new bag!

Thanks, Anna!
